Under 17s defeated in Galway

The under 17s suffered their heaviest defeat of the season away to Galway United on Saturday afternoon. Wilson Waweru broke the deadlock after just ten minutes when he headed home from a Joshua Keane Quinlivan cross. The home side doubled when Horkan caught out goalkeeper Alex Nevin. Harry Rogers added a third when he beat the offside trap before lobbing the ball over Nevin.

In the second half, Wilson Waweru grabbed his second of the afternoon and Adam Rooney added the fifth, scoring after a goalmouth scramble following a Galway corner.
