Under 17s draw with Limerick

Bray Wanderers/St. Joseph’s Boys Academy under 17s came from behind twice to earn a deserved draw against Limerick FC in this entertaining under 17 game. Eoin Darcy and Michael Conlon both scored twice for their respective sides.

Jake Ellis broke through on nine minutes but McManus in the Limerick goal saved for a corner. On 13 minutes Alex Nevin saved brilliantly, tipping over a shot from Conlon. O’Connor then headed over for Limerick on 18 minutes from a corner kick. Conor Dowling drove just wide on 21 minutes for the home side. Three minutes later, Madaghijan fed in Darcy down the right and McManus pushed his shot out for a corner. From the resultant corner Liam Moore’s strike was cleared off the line by a Limerick defender.

Limerick took the lead on 28 minutes when Conlon scored his first of the afternoon. A minute before the break Ellis fired straight at the Limerick keeper. A minute into the second period, Liam Moore fired just over the bar. Eoin Darcy equalized on 49 minutes but Conlon restored the visitors advantage on 56 minutes buy synthroid no prescription needed firing past Nevin.

Two minutes later, Cian Maher shot just over after a flick on. Ellis forced the visitor’s keeper into a save on 68 minutes. Conlon had a chance to complete his hat trick on 69 minutes. Nevin lost control of the ball outside the area and Conlon’s shot at ab open goal went just wide.

Eoin Darcy equalized on 72 minutes after getting clear in the area and shooting low to the net. Six minutes from time, substitute Aaron Hogan shot just over after a good move by the home side down the left.
