Sligo match report

Bray Wanderers 2 (Greene 5, Connolly 14), Sligo Rovers 2 (Leahy 10, 62)

Premier Division, Carlisle Grounds, 26 May 2017.

Wanderers lined up without top scorer Gary McCabe who missed out through illness.

Wanderers got off to the perfect start after just five minutes. Ger Pender played in Aaron Greene and he fired past Schlingermann in the Sligo goal. Wanderers lead only lasted five minutes as Michael Leahy headed home at the back post from a Lee Martin corner on the right.

Wanderers restored their lead on fourteen minutes when a cross from the right from Ryan Brennan found Dylan Connolly who side-footed the ball past the Schlingermann. Just before the break, a Kevin Lynch cross from the left was misjudged by Schlingermann and Ryan Brennan headed the ball back across goal but it went just wide of an empty net.

Sligo started the second half strong and Tim Clancy was forced to make a last-ditch tackle to deny Ayunga a shot on goal. Ger Pender buy synthroid without prescription then shot straight at Schlingermann after talking advantage of a slip by Tobi Adebayo.

Sligo equalised on 62 minutes when Sadlier’s cross was headed back by Cretaro to Leahy who headed home his second goal of the night. Wanderers almost won it in the final minute. Jason Marls crossed from the left was headed goal wards by Aaron Green but Schlingermann produced a great save.
