Stalemate at United Park

Drogheda United 0 Bray Wanderers 0

Premier Division, United Park, 23 May 2017.

Wanderers welcomed back Gary McCabe and Mark Salmon from suspension with Karl Moore and Jason Marks dropping to the bench.

The first attempt on goal fell to the visitors, Keith Buckley’s cross from the right finding Ryan Brennan, but the Bray midfielder couldn’t power it up and former Seagulls keeper Stephen McGuinness had no difficulty with it.

On 20 minutes, former Wanderer Luke Gallagher blocked an Aaron Greene shot with Killian Brennan clearing for a corner. Midway through the half Greene went past Deasy and cut in to fire a shot which McGuinness had to palm away.

There was little in terms of goal mouth action in the second half. On 67 minutes, Wanderers were awarded a free buy synthroid cheap after Deasy’s foul on Connolly. McGuinness saved McCabe’s resultant free kick.

Neither side threatened the opposition keeper after that as both teams had to settle for a point.
