Team news v Dundalk

Bray Wanderers host Dundalk FC tomorrow night at the Carlisle Grounds with the Wanderers aiming to make it 3 wins from 3 since the mid-season break. A 3-2 win against Derry City at the Carlisle was followed up last week with a 2-1 away win against Galway United.

The previous meeting between the two sides this season wasn’t short of entertainment with the Wanderers coming away from Oriel Park 3-1 winners on Good Friday. Harry Kenny and his players will no doubt be hoping to take another 3 points from the current league champions tomorrow night.

Speaking this week, head coach Harry Kenny said,

“Our form since the mid-season break has been good with two victories over Derry City and away to Galway Utd. I thought we fully deserved our win in Galway with two first half goals from Anto Flood and Mark Salmon. Dundalk will come to the Carlisle full of confidence particularly after scoring twelve goals in their last three games.”

In terms of team selection, Harry Kenny will be without the suspended duo of Derek Foran and Tim Clancy, both of whom serve 1 match bans after picking up 5 yellow cards. Last weeks goalscorer Anto Flood is also doubtful as he is carrying an ankle injury and will be assessed closer to the match.

This week’s match officials are:

Referee: Robert Rogers
Assistant 1: Ciaran Delaney
Assistant 2: Darren Corcoran
Fourth Official: Paul Tuite

Kick off at the Carlisle Grounds is at 7:45pm and tickets are available for purchase now from our website.
