The home side stared on top with Sean O’Brien firing just over on 8 minutes after a cross from the right by Moorehouse. Two minutes later, Kelly’s cross fell to Gilshenan who forced the visitor’s keeper into making a great save.

Cobh then came more into the game. On 23 minutes, O’Regan’s cross from the left forced Bray’s Gilson into clearing over his own crossbar. A Cobh corner on 29 minutes resulted in Henry making a save from McSweeney’s header.

On the half-hour, a great strike from Cobh’s Davis crashed against the home crossbar. Three minutes later, O’Leary headed just over as the visitors began to get on top.

Henry shot just wide on 59 minutes for Cobh. Henry saved well from Lamb on 81 minutes.

James McSweeney headed synthroid generic or brand home the only goal of the game from close range just before the interval in extra time. The home side tried hard in the closing stages but the visitors defence stood strong with man of the match McSweeney clearing everything the home side through at him.
