Early goals from Cian Murphy, after six and seven minutes, and Cian Bargary had Cork three goals up inside 10 minutes. Shane Flynn pulled a goal back on 20 minutes and Eoin Darcy made it to 3-2 on 42 minutes. Douwe Va Sinderen added a fourth for Cork on the stroke of half time. David McCullagh (82 mins) and Conor Bowdren (83 mins) scored for Cork before a goal from Byron O’Gorman on 86 minutes for the visitors left the final score 6-3 to Cork.
