Under 17s win in Cobh

Cobh Rambers U17 2 (Nguefang 63, 67) Bray Wanderers/St. Joseph’s Boys u17 3 (Byrne 4, Darcy 36, Madaghijan 56).

Bray Wanderers/St. Joseph’s Boys Academy under 17s maintained their unbeaten start to the new league campaign with this away win over Cobh Ramblers.

Aaron Byrne put the visitors in front after just 4 minutes when he scored from close range after Harrington could only parry a shot. Eoin Darcy scored the second on 36 minutes with a good finish after breaking clear. Daniel Madaghjian volleyed home the third on 56 minutes after Cobh failed to clear.

The home side made three changeson 61 minutes and the game turned. Nguefang pulled a goal back with his first touch on 63 minutes. Four minutes later, Nguefang scored his second after a cross from O’Connell. Despite been under pressure the visitors held on to their lead.
