A goal one minute from time denied Bray Wanderers under 19s victory in this league encounter. Wanderers started well. Luke Rossiter fired over after eight minutes before Luke Clucas forced Martin into saving for a corner on 12 minutes.

Jamie Aherne was next to test the visiting keeper when his lob was tipped over the bar. Rossiter then saw his effort on 23 minutes saved for a corner. Wanderers took the lead on 52 minutes when Luke Rossiter’s shot took a slight deflection and deceived the Waterford keeper.

Shane Heffernan had a chance to double the lead when he picked up a clearance from the keeper and his attempted lob went just past the post as the keeper was stranded,

Waterford equalised on 89 minutes when Croke’s free kick was headed in by Dara Keane.
