Luke Clucas scored Wanderers first goal

Wanderers under 19s starting X1 were unchanged from the team that drew with Waterford the previous Saturday. The home side opened the scoring on ten minutes. Adam Doyle picked up a loose ball for Rovers in the middle of the field and fired to the bottom of the Bray net from just outside the area. The home side doubled their lead on 22 minutes when Michael O’Connor fired home from just inside the Bray area

Wanderers pulled a goal back on 28 minutes. Dion Agbonze broke down the left and crossed to Luke Clucas who’s shot took a slight deflection to beat Gratzer. Rovers almost added a third when Dillion’s shot came back off the post and Doyle’s follow up was blocked by the Bray defence. Rovers added a third on 41 minutes when Dean Dillion fired low past Doyle.

Shane Heffernan scored from the penalty spot on 63 minutes to reduce the arrears but Rovers held out for a win.
