All five Academy teams were in action over the weekend. It was an historic day for the club as a Bray Wanderers ladies team competed at National League level for the very first time.

Ladies u17 squad who were defeated by Wexford ladies

The ladies team played their first game in the under 17 league and were defeated 4-1 away to a strong Wexford ladies team in Ferrycarrig park on Saturday. Wexford were three goals up before Ava Treacy scored for Wanderers in the 46th minute.

Ladies u17 action

Its two defeats from two games in group 4 for the under 19s who were defeated 2-1 away to Shamrock Rovers on Sunday at the Roadstone Academy. Goal scorer was Dean O’Shea.

The under 17s were defeated 4-1 away to Shamrock Rovers on Saturday. Charlie Gallagher scored a consolation goal for Wanderers in the 77th minute after the team was four goals down.

The under 15s made it two wins from two games in group 4 when they defeated UCD 2-0 at in Pearse Park on Sunday. Goal scorers were Stephen Mohan (2 minutes) and Cian Doyle (44 minutes).

The under 13s defeated Wexford FC 3-2 in Ferrycarrig park on Sunday. Sam Rothwell opened the scoring for the visitors in the 10th minute. Wexford equalised on 28 minutes through Wasilewski. Mason Melia then scored twice, in the 33rd and 39th minutes to put Wanderers 3-1 up. Wasilewski pulled a goal back on 55 minutes but the visitors held their lead to the end.
