Exciting times ahead as Bray Wanderers FC announce our new Football and Social Responsibility programme.
Two well known Bray men Dermot O’Brien and Robbie Doyle will lead out on this new initiative which is supported by Slainte Care through the Healthy Communities programme in partnership with the FAI.
According to O’Brien, “football clubs have a role to play in social change. We can see the potential to partner with other organisations and contribute more than what we offer on the pitch. We want this club to take its place alongside the many organisations that are making a difference in the lives of young and old in our communities.
Ultimately when this type of work is resourced through a programme like Healthy Communities it can make a huge difference to the ambitions of the club around its connections to community and to organisations that share our values.”
