Bray Wanderers FC are delighted to appoint Michelle Hone as Performance Nutritionist.
Michelle Hone’s nutrition career began in 2009, when she was awarded an academic scholarship to Dublin City University, where she completed a BSc. in Sport Science and Health.
In 2014, Michelle received an academic scholarship to University College Dublin, where she is currently undertaking a PhD. in Sports Nutrition. Her research currently involves looking into the effect of protein supplementation on various performance parameters.
Through her two companies, The Fit Clinic & The Body Agency, Michelle has worked one-to-one with over 300 athletes and clients, including athletes competing at an international level. She has also worked with a number of teams as performance nutritionist, including Kilmacud synthroid generic name and use Crokes Senior Team and UCD Swim Team.
“I’m really excited to be working with such a professional outfit as Bray Wanderers FC. And I’m looking forward to bringing their nutrition and performance to the next level for the coming season,” says Michelle.
“The focus of our nutrition strategy with the players over the coming months is recovery from and adaptation to each training session and match. Alongside the work of our other coaches, this will play a critical role and will ensure that each player is in peak condition for their performance in the exciting season to come.”
