League of Ireland First Division

Wexford FC

Friday July 14, Carlisle Grounds

Kick-off 7.45pm

After four away trips in the past five matches, Bray return to the Carlisle Grounds for the first time in 21 days when hosting Wexford FC on Friday.

Ahead of the clubs only home fixture in the month of July, Head Coach Ian Ryan stated “It’s been a while. We’re looking forward to getting on our pitch. And using the brilliant surface that we have. Hopefully, then building on the recent points we’ve achieved at difficult away venues. We’ll look first to perform well. If we do, the result will take of itself.”

On the back of a three-game unbeaten since returning from the mid-season break, Ryan went on to explain “Drawing too many games has probably been our story so far, two more recently. We need to turn them into victories. Hopefully, with the new blood that’s in the squad, we can start pushing them results over the line.”

TEAM NEWS

Ryan is hopeful that new signings Yoyo Mahdy and Seán Quinn will be available for selection.

“I hope so. We’re just waiting on registration and clearance’ he revealed.

Skipper Dave Webster and striker Jake Walker missed the trip to Finn Harps last week.

“They are both returning. And trained for the first time on Wednesday. We’ll wait and see how they respond” Ryan added.

PREVIOUS MEETINGS

Back in March. Ben Feeney’s brace coupled with Cole Omorehiomwan’s winner sealed the points in a 3-2 triumph at the Carlisle Grounds.

But in the reverse fixture at Ferrycarrig Park in May, Dane Massey’s equaliser cancelled out Matthew Dunne’s opener in a 1-1 draw.
