I would like to thank all our Sponsors/Fans/ Supporters/Clubs and Media for the wonderful support you have given us this past season. A special word of thanks to An Garda Siochana.
It has been a wonderful second half to the season and we are building to keep it moving that way come the start of season 2017.
The journey has been managed by Harry Kenny – a guy who has brought us to a new level of success and professionalism in our Club. We also have brilliant coaching set up ably led by Liam O’Brien.Behind all of this we have a fantastic senior squad.
And the Club has made huge strides in implementing a top class Medical/Fitness regime all led by our Club Doctor. And I would like to thank our Senior Kit man ,Stephen McGuire, who works tirelessly on many Club duties.
I can assure you all that a huge effort has gone into 2017 preparations.
We are also busy organising our Under 19 and Under 17 structures. And preparing for the Under 15 Launch.On this point we must point out that the link with St Josephs Boys Club has proved to be a massive step in the right direction.
Behind the scenes we are working away with the Wicklow and District Football Leagues to try and create a unified strong brand for Wicklow Football. The Club are launching their Social responsibilities programme. And we will be actively promoting our nominated Charities. So I would urge you to come together and support this great Club in any way you can – promote it amongst family and friends . All Volunteers are welcome as we prepare for a major journey next season – and that can be in a multitude of different ways. But don’t be afraid to make contact.

On that point special thanks to a really brilliant group of people who work at a fantastic rate to improve all aspects of the Club – Ground, Pitch, Administration, PR, Licensing,Facilities . They do so in a very quiet and efficient manner but their contribution is vital (Gerry/Kieran/ Martin/Declan/Jill/Dermot/Kevin/Mick/Stephen). Thanks Indeed.
All that remains is for me to wish you all a very happy Christmas – your families especially our thoughts are with those who don’t make it home for the occasion.
