Cobh Ramblers v Bray Wanderers Match Preview

Bray Wanderers Match Preview
League of Ireland First Division
Cobh Ramblers
Friday March 31, St. Colman’s Park
Kick-off 7.45pm

Second faces third as Bray make the long haul to St. Colman’s Park on Friday to take on Cobh Ramblers.
Just a single point separates the sides after the first six league games of the season.
“We’re both tight together. We’ve both started really well. The table doesn’t really matter too much at this stage of the year. We’re looking to get three points. And we’re more than capable of doing that” viewed Wanderers Head Coach Ian Ryan.
Last week’s victory over Wexford ensured the Wicklow side equalled the club record of eight games unbeaten in all competitions at the start a season – going back to the 1995/96 campaign.
The last fixture of March gives the club the opportunity to create a bit of history.
“It was there for us last week. We want those little accolades. In the greater scheme of things, it doesn’t take up much of our attention. We just want to focus on the game. We’ve started really well – so have Cobh. It a massive game for both of us. But we’re looking forward to it” Ryan stated.

TEAM NEWS

Defender Len O’Sullivan will miss the trip to Cork after going off injured last week against Wexford.
“It’s nothing too serious. It’s the hamstring that’s bothered him since pre-season” explained Ryan.
With skipper Dave Webster and midfielder Darren Craven still building up fitness, the duo is not expected to make the match day squad.
