Bray Wanderers exited the FAI cup for the second time in three seasons at the hands of Finn Harps at the Carlisle Grounds.
Alexander Kogler scored twice in the first half for Harps. Any hopes of a Bray comeback were dashed in the 49th minute when Paul Keegan received a straight red card.
The game started off at a lively pace. Adrian Delap went close for Harps after just two minutes when he volleyed just wide. Wanderers then forced a succession of corners up to the tenth minute. Harps took the lead in the 12th minute when Alexander Kolger headed home from a long throw in.
Callum Thompson went on a mazey run just before the half hour and forced McGinley into a save. Luka Lovic also tested the Harps keeper minutes later.
Kolger headed home his second goal of the game in the 33rd minute following a cross from Delap. Any hopes of a Wanderers revival were dashed four minutes into the second half when Paul Keegan was shown a straight red card for a foul on Mark Russell. with Wanderers reduced to ten men Harps were able to see out the game comfortably.
