Bray Wanderers extended their unbeaten league run to six league games with this entertaining draw with Galway United.
Galway took the lead after 14 minutes. Kevin Devaney cut in from the right and fired low past Peter Cherrie. Wanderers were level on 23 minutes. Ryan Brennan crossed from the right to the unmarked Jason Marks who fired home. Wanderers went in front two minutes into the second half, Marks fired home his second from a Aaron Greene’s cross from the right.
Galway were awarded a soft penalty on 65 minutes when Conor Kenna was adjudged to have fouled a Galway player in the box. Murray scored from the resultant penalty. Wanderers were then awarded a penalty on 72 minutes when Holohan handled in the box. Aaron Green duly converted from the spot.
Galway were level on 85 minutes when Rory Hale smashed a shot off the crossbar and Devaney fired home the rebound. Galway were awared a second penalty two minutes into stoppage time after a foul by Hugh Douglas. Peter Cherrie saved brilliantly from Murray to deny Galway a win.
