Despite been on top for most of the game Bray Wanderers came away from the Markets Field with no points as Treaty United scored twice in the closing stages to win the game.

Wanderers named an unchanged line up for the first time this season.

Wanderers started the game on top and Joe Doyle headed over from a Dylan Barnett cross on 24 minutes. A minute later, Doyle’s snapshot was straight at Ryan. Wanderers should have taken the lead on 28 minutes when Doyle headed wide with only Ryan to beat.

Dylan Barnett went on a good run down the left on 38 minutes but shot straight at Ryan. Good work from Brandon Kavanagh on 38 minutes set up O’Farrell who blazed over with only Ryan to beat. Treaty’s first shot on goal came from a free kick just before the break but Hanlon fired it wide.

Dylan Barnett fired a free kick just over on 47 minutes. Matt Keane had Treaty’s first shot on target on 54 minutes which was well saved by Maher. Just on the hour mark Ed McCarthy’s shot took a slight deflection and came back off the Bray post.

Darren Craven got in on the left on 73 minutes but shot straight at Ryan. Minutes later, Craven forced Ryan into another save. Treaty had a couple of chances with Keane’s long-range shot been saved by Maher and McCarthy firing a long-range effort wide.

Six minutes from time William Armshaw went on a run and fired past Maher to open the scoring. Two minutes later, Mark Byrne in attempting to clear headed into his own net to seal the win for the home side.
