Wanderers started brightly in this game. In the fifth minute, Kevin Lynch fed Jake Kelly but the striker was unable to convert. Rovers began to get on top and took the lead on 37 minutes when Dan Carr evaded Sean Heaney on the right and his low cross was turned in by Ronan Finn.

On 26 minutes, Jake Kelly created an opening on the right for Sean Harding but he shot wide after cutting in. On the stroke of half time, Miele’s corner was headed goal bound by Ethan Boyle but his header was cleared off the line.

In the second half, Evan Moran produced a great save form a Sean Kavanagh free kick. Rovers were awarded a penalty on 67 minutes when gibbons brought down Kavanagh. Dylan Watts duly converted from the spot.

Jake Kelly chance

Moran produced another great save from another Kavanagh free kick on 71 minutes before Rovers wrapped up the win when Brandon Miele scored on 76 minutes.
