SJ. B Academy week end round up 14.05.2018

The SJ.B Academy under 19s were defeated 3-1 away to Galway United at East United’s grounds last Saturday. Galway went ahead on 17 minutes through Conor Layny. Daniel Luczynski equalized on 53 minutes for the visitors. The home side added two more goals through Layng (54m) and Wilson Wawery to clinch victory.

The under 19s have suffered six deteats from their six league games to date. They are at home to Cobh Ramblers on Sunday, 20th May. Kick off in the Carlisle Grounds is 2.00pm.

The under 17s defeated Cobh Ramblers 3-2 in the Academy Grounds in Carrickmines last Saturday. Cian Maher put the home side ahead on five minutes. Cobh were level on 29 minutes through Fionn Molloy. Daniel Madaghijan (54m) and Cian Walsh (67m) had the home side 3-1 up before Cobh scored a late consolation on 81 minutes through Christopher O’Reilly.

The SJ.B under 15s were defeated 3-1 away to Sligo Rovers on Saturday. Sligo went ahead on 13 minutes through Joshua Mulrennan. Billy Vance equalised for the visitors on 26 minutes before Sligo regained the lead on 32 minutes through Kallin barlow. Johnny Kenny added a third for Sligo on 81 minutes. The under 15s remain in second place in group 2 of the League.
