

Four SJ.B Academy players were away on International duty last week. Dragos Mamaliga represented Moldova under 19s in the Valentin Granatkin tournament.
Three of the under 15 squad were away last week with the Irish under 16s in Bulgaria. Billy Vance, Leigh Kavanagh and Andy Moran. Billy was on the scoresheet in the 4-2 win over Bulgaria.
On the field of play this week-end, the under 19s drew 1-1 with Wexford FC at the Academy grounds in Carrickmines last Sunday. Joshua Ojelabi put the home side in front on 27 minutes. Yaw Aboagye equalised for Wexford FC on 63 minutes.

The under 17s defeated Wexford FC 3-1 last Saturday at the Academy Grounds. Jake Ellis opened the scoring on the stroke of half time after a solo run. Wexford FC equalised on 50 minutes through Robert Bulmer. Ellis added his second on 66 minutes before Byron O’Gorman wrapped up the win on the stroke of full time.

The under 17s are in second place in the Elite Southern division with two games remaining and are on course to qualify for the league play offs. Their next game is away to Cabinteely on Saturday, 22nd September in Kilternan pitches. Kick off is 2.00pm.
The under 15s defeated Galway United 2-1 away in phase 2 of the under 15 league. Andy Moran put the visitors ahead on 54 minutes while Billy Vance added a second on 80 minutes. Galway pulled a goal back before the end but the visitors held on for their win. Under 15 team v.
