Under 19s

The under 19s were defeated 3-0 away to Cabinteely in Kilternan on Saturday afternoon in their final league game of the season in the Elite southern section. Former Bray player Luke Clucas put the home side ahead on 7 minutes. Paul Fox scored the second on 61 minutes before Jack Fox completed the scoring in the 86th minute.

The under 19s will now complete in the Shield competition to finish off their season. They face Athlone Town on Sunday, 7th October at home in Berryfield, Enniskerry. Kick off is 2.00pm

Under 17s

Under 17 match action v. UCD

The under 17s defeated UCD 2-0 at the Carlisle grounds on Saturday afternoon. Daniel Madaghjian tested Matthew Treanor in the UCD goal after just two minutes, forcing the keeper into a save. On 22 minutes, a good move on the right saw Aaron Rice feed Glen Hollywood who forced Treanor into another save. Three minutes later, Evan Dunne’s free kick just sailed over the bar. After good work on the right Aaron Rice fired narrowly over on 33 minutes. A minute later, Treanor saved from Omochere. The home side took the lead two minutes into stoppage time in the first half when Alex Rafferty fired home from inside the box.

The home side continued on top in the second half. Precious Omochere forced Treanor into another save a minute after the restart. The second goal duly arrived on 53 minutes when Daniel Madaghjian fired home. The visitors had a couple of chances with Hugh Turnfelf firing over on 61 minutes before Harry McEvoy hit the crossbar on 74 minutes.

Under 17 match action v. UCD

On the stroke of full time Evan Dunne set up Jake Ellis but the striker fired just outside the left-hand post.

The under 17s finished their league campaign in second place in the Elite Southern division and will now have a home tie in the quarter final when they face Finn Harps on Sunday, 7th October at home. Kick off at the Carlisle Grounds 3.00pm

Under 15s

The under 15s drew 0-0 away to Cork City in Bishopstown on Saturday afternoon and have now qualified for the league semi-finals.

Their next game is at home to St. Patrick’s Athletic on Sunday, 7th October in their final group game of stage two of the league. Kick-off is 2.00pm in the Academy Grounds in Carrickmines.
