Team news v Limerick

The Wanderers are back in action tomorrow night after the mid-season break as we travel to Markets Field to take on Limerick FC knowing that a win will cut the gap to Limerick to just 3 points.

The Wanderers last match was a 0-0 draw at home against Waterford FC and Martin Russell will have the same squad to pick from for tomorrow night’s match with the additions of Conor Kenna and Gary McCabe. Aaron Greene has resumed training following a lengthy absence but tomorrow night’s match comes too soon for the Wanderers striker. While Hugh Douglas, Darragh Gibbons , John Sullivan , Dylan Hayes & Darragh Noone all remain sidelined through injury.

Speaking ahead of tomorrows match, Bray Wanderers manager Martin Russell said,

“The game represents a real challenge. We are going into it in a positive manner. Obviously I know a lot of the Limerick players and staff, and I have empathy on all the recent documented troubles. It can be hard to fully concentrate on a game with uncertainties hanging over you.

We can only try and build on our recent form, continuing to give it our best shot at achieving something that many folk don’t think possible.”
Kick off in Markets Field is at 7:45pm
