Bray Wanderers complete the first phase of matches this season by facing Treaty United for only the third time at the Carlisle Grounds.

MANAGEMENT TEAM VIEW

 On the back of a four-game unbeaten run, Bray Wanderers Assistant Manager within the management team, Eddie Gormley is looking to continue that form into this week’s match with Treaty.

“Obviously, it will be a difficult game. Treaty are a strong, physical side. We’ve had a good week’s training, Hopefully, we can take that into the game.”

He continued “We will be looking to keep the unbeaten run going. We know what they are about. We will have to be at our best to compete with them.”

 Both Conor Clifford and Ben Feeney are ruled out through injury.

 Oliver Moran will take charge of the fixture with Ciaran O’Reilly and Conor Harkin being the Assistants. The fourth official is Alan Patchell.

PREVIOUS MEETINGS

 The game will be just the fourth meeting of the sides since Treaty United entered the League of Ireland last year.

Honours were even last season with each side winning one league encounter and drawing one.

Treaty United’s first senior game was against Bray Wanderers at the Carlisle Grounds in March 2021 when the game ended scoreless.

In the game played in the Markets Field in May, Treaty scored twice within two minutes in the final five minutes of the game to run out 2-0 winners. Their goal scorers were Willie

Armshaw on 86 minutes and a Mark Byrne own goal on 87 minutes.

In the third league meeting last season, Conor Clifford scored a 90th minute winner from the penalty spot to earn wanderers a 1-0 win.
