Treaty United v Bray Wanderers Match Preview

Bray Wanderers Match Preview

League of Ireland First Division

Treaty United

Friday June 30, Markets Field

Kick-off 7.45pm

Bray begin a period of four away games in their next five matches in all competitions by travelling to the Markets Field on Friday to take on Treaty United.
Ahead of the third encounter between the clubs this season – each team has won once to date – Wanderers Head Coach Ian Ryan said “It’s going to be a difficult game for us. We know what they are like; we know what they are about. They are really well organised, and hard to beat.”
He went to state “They deservedly beat us the last time we met. So, we know what we’re up against. But for us, the focus has to be to look after ourselves. We are more than capable of going there and getting a result. We need to look after our own performance. If we do that, hopefully it goes for us.”

TEAM NEWS

Defender Eoin Farrell is ruled out through injury.
Midfielders Luka Lovic and Harry Groome picked up slight knocks in last week’s win over Kerry. But both are expected to feature.
“Squad wise, it’s relatively good” explained Ryan.
“We haven’t had that in a long time. So, that’s really positive. That adds to the competition. And hopefully people performing.”

PREVIOUS MEETINGS

Last February, Bray grabbed a late winner through Ben Feeney at the Markets Field to win 1-0 on the opening day of the season.
But in the reverse fixture at the Carlisle Grounds in May, Treaty recorded a 3-0 victory.
