Bray suffered their first home loss in the EA SPORTS MU15 LOI Academy – Tier Two (North) section.
Drogheda left Ballycorus on Sunday afternoon with all three points thanks to Romeo Fomenky’s winner in the middle period.
In the opening period of 30 minutes, the home team were playing all the football, and creating a number of chances, But couldn’t convert their pressure into in goals.
However, the middle period saw United go more direct in their play. The visitors got their reward in the 47th minute.
A free kick was not being cleared by Wanderers and Fomenky reacted to toe poke in the crucial score.
In the final period, the Seagulls again could not take advantage of several opportunities.
The Louth side were awarded an 87th minute penalty. But home goalkeeper Alex Forde made a good save to deny Jamie O’Brien’s spot-kick.
