UCD 7 Bray Wanderers 1
It was a disappointing day for the clubs’ U15’s as they suffered a heavy away EA SPORTS LOI ACADEMY – Tier Two (North) loss to UCD.
It was a case of what might have been for Wanderers who failed to capitalise on a number of opportunities at Colaiste Eoin School on Sunday afternoon.
The Students started well and a took a second minute lead through Flynn Ryan.
They doubled that tally in the 16th minute off a deflected own goal.
Yet, the visitors were left to rue a series of missed chances in the opening period.
Home substitute Josh Halpin made it 3-0 early in the second period.
But the Green and White’s did pull one back when Barra Lynch was on the score-sheet in the 44th minute.
However, the hosts replied with Billy Feeney on the mark.
They added through more scores in the final 30 minutes through Conor O’Neill and the substitute pairing of Keelan Walsh and Leon Robinson.
