U19 Match Report – Bray Wanderers 2 Treaty United 2

Bray Wanderers 2 Treaty United 2

Two late goals saw Bray extend their unbeaten EA SPORTS MU19 LOI Academy Group A run to four games.

But it didn’t’ look that way on Sunday afternoon at Ballycorus as Treaty led 2-0 with full time approaching.

Having won two and drawn the other in their last three matches, Wanderers had the better of the first period exchanges in what was their last Group outing in the competition.

Efforts from Lewis Jacobs and Ben Clarke were all dealt with by the Treaty goalkeeper Joshua Coady.

A stream of crosses from Roland Olakanye, Zack Nolan, Josh Kerr, and Daniel Chukwu caused mayhem in the away defence. But none of them led to the breakthrough.

Instead, somewhat against the run of play, United went ahead in the 44th minute through Nikodem Kozlowski

The home defence was caught out again early in the second half when Kozlowski was on the mark again in the 54th minute.

But the Green and White’s rallied with a stunning comeback.

Thomas Morgan popped up with his sixth goal in the last three games to make it 2-1 in the 89th minute.

Then with the contest just approaching injury time, midfielder Jack Kehoe earned a deserved share of the spoils.

The result means Wanderers finish seventh in the 11-club Group, earning 12 points from their ten games.
