Wanderers lose to Waterford in friendly

First division league leaders Waterford were in control of this game from the first minute. Dean Walsh’s shot came back off the Bray crossbar in the fifth minute. The visitors opened their account on 11 minutes through Aaron Drinan. Drinan added his second on 27 minutes and Sander Puri added the third two minutes later. Aaron Greene fired a long range effort over the bar on 32 minutes. Ger Pender forced McLoughlin into making a great save on the stroke of half time.

Lee Steacy saved with his feet to deny Puri on 54 minutes. Ryan Brennan went close, heading over a Gary McCabe corner on 54 minutes. McCabe then forced McLoughlin into a save on 61 minutes. McLoughlin then saved from Jake Ellis after the young striker broke though on the right.

Paul Keegan scored the fourth from a free kick on 62 minutes. Kevin Lynch conceded a penalty on 75 minutes, bringing down Dean Walsh. Walsh duly converted the spot kick.
